Field of Membership We're pleased to announce that membership in Spectrum Federal Credit Union has expanded! Association Membership Potential members who do not meet employer group or geographic membership qualifications may now join Financial Fitness Association and qualify for Spectrum Federal Credit Union membership! Financial Fitness Association membership is available to you regardless of where you live or work. The cost is only $5 for an annual membership. (You may join Financial Fitness Association using their online membership form. It's easy!) Employer Groups and Geographic Location In Maryland, membership is extended to citizens in Thurmont, Woodsboro and Emmitsburg and surrounding areas. In San Francisco, membership is extended to members of the Golden Gate Business Association! Also in San Francisco, membership is now open to persons who work, worship, live, or go to school in the following areas of the City: Russian Hill, Telegraph Hill, North Beach, Chinatown, Financial District, Western Addition, South of Market, Potrero Hill, The Panhandle, The Mission, Bernal Heights, Bayview, Hunters Point, Portola, and Visitacion Valley. This is in addition to the Community of Frederick, Maryland and employees of the companies listed below and their 'immediate family members', or foster and adopted children regardless of their current place of residence; including 'unmarried partners of members who regularly cohabit for familial purposes'. Once a person joins Spectrum Federal Credit Union, she/he may remain a member for life, even if her/his relationship to a qualifying organization changes. If you move away from a branch, you can still conduct credit union business via your personal computer, fax, phone, via our ATM or credit union CO-OP network - no matter where you live. That means even if you are no longer employed by a sponsor company or live nearby, you can still belong to Spectrum FCU! Encourage your co-workers and family members to join Spectrum Federal Credit Union - and help the credit union grow!
